15 years ago I started out selling on eBay.

I got hooked on selling and then created my first website.
Like a lot of my clients, I struggled with which platform I should use and learning all the skills that goes with an online business.

Looking back - my first website was tacky and ugly.  Ironically it sold my items really well because it was simple and easy to use.

Then also like a lot of my clients now I needed to upgrade and went through web designers to get my dream website.

Just my clients today, I myself have run the gauntlet of good platforms and bad platforms, using the wrong platforms.  I even spent two years around a full-time job building what I thought was my retirement project on what turned out to be the wrong platform because I was trying to save money.  I then also paid for some SEO help that turned out to be such rubbish that I training myself in SEO.

Realizing I didn't have the right skills for online business and building websites I took an internship with some web designers and learned all about WordPress and web design and then honed my skills with SEO.

I found that my own selling experience made me very skilled in e-commerce and I now train and assist others in online selling.

To this day when I am not building websites for clients, I am teaching myself new skills.
